Together, the San Diego Women’s Foundation (SDWF) Collaboration Commitee and San Diego Foundation’s (SDF) Environmental Initiatives have partnered to support organizations that are advancing environmental justice, community organizing, and civic engagement throughout San Diego County.

Environmental justice is essential to ensuring a clean and healthy environment for everyone—regardless of race, color, national origin, or income. Yet, low-income communities and communities of color are disproportionately affected by pollution, hazardous waste, and limited access to environmental resources. This grant initiative supports the local organizations that are working on the front lines to confront these disparities and create meaningful change.
