SDWF Philanthropic Education: A Conversation About Unrestricted Giving

The San Diego Women’s Foundation is proud to host a philanthropic education event featuring two incredible collective giving organizations practicing trust-based philanthropy: Impact 100 Seattle and Impact 100 Richmond. Our conversation will explore how to assess grant applications, measure impact, and implement trust-based philanthropy within the framework of collective giving. Joining us are experts who will share their approach to unrestricted and multi-year grants in their respective organizations: Melissa West – Impact 100 Seattle, Grants Chair Talley Baratka – Impact 100 Richmond, Founder Carol Anne Baker Lajoie – Impact 100 Richmond, Leadership Chair Must register in advance to attend - Zoom details will be sent closer to the event date.

The Development Committee supports the mission of SDWF through fundraising efforts, working closely with staff leadership to develop and implement plans for sustainability and growth. The Committee will utilize a DEI lens to recommend changes to SDWF operations and procedures. The Collaboration Committee seeks to increase our impact by partnering with other philanthropic funders.
