Our Impact

At our 25th Annual grants Celebration in June 2025, we presented updates from our Cycle 24 partners working to address the youth mental health crisis in San Diego County. While two of our partners, SAY Sand Diego and Monarch School Project, are continuing on to the second year of a 2-year grant term, we wrapped up Mending Matter’s 1-year grant term and debuted the following video telling their incredible story.

As part of our 2024 Annual Grants Celebration, SDWF presented videos showcasing the impact of our partnerships with seven organizations working to address disparities in early childhood education. Please take a moment to watch these impressive stories.

In June 2023, we awarded $235,000 to six organizations working to address food insecurity, listen to their stories below.

In June 2020, we awarded $380,000 to seven organizations working to support refugees, asylees and asylum seekers. Though a global pandemic prevented us from coming together to film impact videos, we still captured short video updates from each organization.
