Last week, the San Diego Women’s Foundation continued our inspiHER Series with an incredible keynote presentation from Jenny Black, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.
Jenny shared powerful insights on resilience, advocacy, and the importance of courageous leadership in advancing equity and access. Her decades-long commitment to reproductive health and rights — especially for women, the LGBTQ+ community, and underserved populations — left us energized and deeply inspired.
We’re so grateful to Planned Parenthood for being one of SDWF’s earliest grantees and for welcoming us into their space so warmly as we celebrate 25 years of women’s leadership in philanthropy!

Even a little rain couldn’t stop us from having an amazing time at our Neighborhood Connection event last night! Members and potential members came together for an evening full of laughter, great food, and meaningful conversation.
The rain let up just long enough for us to enjoy a stunning Del Mar sunset.
A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts, Madonna Messina and Kim Kleber, for making the evening so special. And an extra shoutout to Madonna for opening her beautiful home to us!
We’re so grateful to everyone who braved the weather to join in the fun. Nights like these remind us how strong and inspiring our SDWF community truly is.
