Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our community partner, ElderHelp of San Diego, at our Holiday Party with a Purpose last week!
Because of your generosity, the joy of the season will reach local seniors who may otherwise feel isolated during the holidays. Every donation made through this event helps provide companionship, support, and meaningful moments of connection for older adults in our community.
It was truly special to come together, celebrate the season, and see the impact we can make when we give together. Thank you to ElderHelp for welcoming us into your space and for everything you do for seniors in our community.

Last week, our Fellowship Committee volunteered with Foundation for Women Warriors, making holiday cards and packing gift bags for women who have bravely served our country. Seeing all the wonderful gifts their children will receive and knowing we played even a small part in making that joy possible was truly heartwarming. It was also a special opportunity for our committee to connect and spend time together while giving back.
A huge thank you to Foundation for Women Warriors for the incredible work they do to support and uplift women veterans and their families!

Last week, the San Diego Women’s Foundation continued our inspiHER Series with an incredible keynote presentation from Jenny Black, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.
Jenny shared powerful insights on resilience, advocacy, and the importance of courageous leadership in advancing equity and access. Her decades-long commitment to reproductive health and rights — especially for women, the LGBTQ+ community, and underserved populations — left us energized and deeply inspired.
We’re so grateful to Planned Parenthood for being one of SDWF’s earliest grantees and for welcoming us into their space so warmly as we celebrate 25 years of women’s leadership in philanthropy!
